Track what you eat on MyFitnessPal app

Using MyFitnessPal has helped me and many others track calories, protein, carbs, fat, water intake, and exercise. It is useful to see a days worth of food at your fingertips because it is easy to eat and forget.

Meal Prep

Prepping meals ahead of time can be greatly beneficial. It makes choosing food easier in the moment because it is already prepared. This decreases unhealthy food choices we often tend to make in moments of hunger.

Limit sugary / high calorie beverages

Beverages can affect sugar and calorie intake more than you think. Sugar in coffee, soda, juice, sports drinks, energy drinks, iced tea, and of course alcoholic beverages can easily add pounds and decrease overall health. Drinking more water is a good option, especially during exercise and on hot days. Invest in a reusable water bottle. Fill it up and carry it with you throughout the day.
